The workshop will be held this year for the first time, in association with the multi award-winning design studio Šesnić&Turković. Expect fun, playfulness and joy, and during the festival the participants will be working on a poster for the opening film of this year’s KinoKino Festival edition.
Šesnić&Turković design studio was established in 2006 and has been active since then in the field of graphic design and visual communications. They have designed many award-winning and original and authentic posters for Croatian and foreign films, including The Beast, Life Is a Trumpet, Louder than Guns, The Mystery of Green Hill and Quit Staring at My Plate.
For the last year’s opening of KinoKino, Šesnić&Turković have designed a colourful and nostalgic poster of the iconic children’s adventure film The Goonies, and this year they will assist young future designers in making their first film poster. The workshop will be mentored by designer Andrea Sužnjević.
The workshop is suitable for children age 7 to 14 and lasts for two days, 3 and 4 February from 10am to 2pm. Applications open on 23 January and close on the 31 or to the full capacity of the workshop. Please send your entries to the following email address: iva@zagrebfilmfestival.com.
