Create Your Own Video Game

The aim of the workshop is to show the youngest participants how video games are made, in a simple way, with the help of previously prepared materials. Simple game design software will be used, tailored to suit the youngest participants, making it possible to combine audiovisual elements in a simple interactive element. The participants will learn how to utilise the increasingly popular programming method– MIT Scratch. Scratch is the type of programming that does not require a complicated syntax of cutting-edge programme languages for entry data, but rather teaches a child to programme by compiling simple, cause-and-effect elements. At the end of the workshop, the participants will independently make a simple game of their own.
